en Picassent, al oeste y suroeste respectivamente de la Ciudad de Valencia, se sit\u00faan las dos plantas potabilizadoras que suministran agua a Valencia y su \u00c1rea Metropolitana. <br \/>Las tuber\u00edas de aducci\u00f3n existentes transportan los caudales desde las Plantas Potabilizadoras a Valencia y los municipios de su entorno, discurren en direcci\u00f3n Oeste &#8211; Este, ramific\u00e1ndose a la entrada de la Ciudad de Valencia a la altura del Nuevo Cauce del R\u00edo Turia. Con esta inversi\u00f3n se completa la interconexi\u00f3n entre las ETAPs de El Real\u00f3n y La Presa, y las aducciones de estas. <br \/>La conducci\u00f3n denominada tramo Xirivella Huerta inicia su trazado en la A venida del Turia, en el casco urbano de Xirivella, en el l\u00edmite de la zona de protecci\u00f3n que determina la v\u00eda de ferrocarril {l\u00edmite de la zona urbana), y discurre por la zona de huerta en direcci\u00f3n a la CV-36.
